As part of the European project “PacteSur”, the cities of Nice, Liège and Turin have been jointly developing solutions to better protect urban areas from terrorism and crossing acts since 2019.
Mobile HVM barrier to protect against crossing acts
For the city of Liège/Liège, the participation in this project consists in the selection and testing of mobile vehicle barriers to secure public spaces.
For this reason, the Belgian city has chosen our mobile access barrier ARMIS ONE. This was initially tested in the city center. In April 2021, it was then used at the Bastogne-Liège-Bastogne cycling race.
