Mobile access protection for a safe festival
Around 2,100 active participants and 60,000 visitors gathered in the Swiss village of Menznau for the 66th Central Swiss Yodelling Festival. To create space for numerous food stalls, market stands, and festival areas, the main street was closed throughout the event.
HVM barriers kept the festival site secure
To protect all guests, 20 mobile HVM barriers of the ARMIS GO and ARMIS ONE types were deployed to secure the six main access points. These barriers reliably blocked unauthorized vehicles while ensuring emergency and authorized access remained unobstructed at all times.
The municipality of Menznau rented the barriers directly from Consel. As part of a sponsorship agreement, Consel covered part of the costs and contributed to the safe and successful delivery of this major event.
