ARMIS PLANTER – Security you can see and feel
A heavily used outdoor area – frequented daily by visitors and staff – required effective protection against uncontrolled vehicle intrusion. As part of a larger perimeter protection project, the challenge was to implement reliable security measures that integrate seamlessly into the urban environment without creating a restrictive or intimidating atmosphere.

The challenge
The site presented several logistical challenges. Narrow access routes along a busy main road significantly complicated material transport. At the same time, ongoing bus operations had to be maintained throughout the installation process.
Each placement of the planters by crane required precise planning and coordination. In addition, the slight slope of the square had to be compensated using adjustable feet to ensure safe, level installation of all five units.
The solution
Five ARMIS PLANTER units with a diameter of 2,200 mm were installed as part of the overall perimeter protection solution.
The stainless steel casing blends discreetly into the urban landscape, combining effective vehicle protection with functional street design. The planters were installed without excavation, interference with the substructure or additional utility works.
Thanks to the modular design and adjustable feet, the ARMIS PLANTER security planters were installed precisely and on schedule despite the challenging site conditions.
