Consel acquires sih Sicherungsanlagen GmbH

sih was founded in 1992. From its headquarters in Birkholz and its branch in Gardelegen, the company designs, manufactures and installs fences, gates, barriers and turnstile systems. They secure prisons, military facilities and critical infrastructure, as well as industrial and commercial sites.

Vehicle access protection and perimeter protection from a single source

Consel has been working in vehicle access control and protection since 1997. Today, the company offers its own bollard systems, road blockers, high-security boom barriers and vehicle barriers such as ARMIS ONE, ARMIS GO, ARMIS AIR and ARMIS PLANTER. More and more customers are looking for coordinated security for their entire site. sih adds decades of experience in perimeter protection and its own gate manufacturing. Operators of security-critical sites therefore receive coordinated solutions, from the fence and the gate to the vehicle barrier.

By pooling their expertise, the two companies can combine mechanical and electronic security solutions even more effectively. In future, they will also be able to take on larger and more complex projects together.

sih remains independent

sih will continue to operate as an independent company under its existing brand. It is managed by Francis Seijas, CEO of Consel Group AG, and Mathias Büttner, who previously ran sih with his father for many years.

Consel Group sees sih as a permanent part of the group, with its own identity and room for further development. The plan is to strengthen the company step by step, including targeted investments where they make a real contribution to quality, performance and service.
