A wide variety of systems are used for the area closure and access control of the new federal administration building. As part of this list, there are also some special solutions offered by Consel Group.

Gates and turnstiles
The basis for securing the area is formed by fences, as well as reinforced gates and turnstiles. These were implemented in cooperation with ZABAG.
Bike turnstile
Special bicycle turnstiles have also been integrated, each with a separate turnstile for person and bicycle.
High security bollard
Semi-automatic and fully automatic high-security bollards from Consel manufacturing complete the security concept. Special features:
- individually adapted bollard shafts due to very tight space conditions and inclinations in the entrance ramps
- bollards adapted to inclination
- double closures under the cover – a novelty in the security market!
Automatic barriers
Desired design of automatic barrier systems
The access control system consists of automatic barriers with control columns specially manufactured for the BBL and painted in the color of your choice. Learn more about the topic of electric barriers.
Mini-Road Blocker
Development of special solution due to low installation depth
The low installation depth at the main entrance of the area makes it impossible to use automatic high-security bollards, so Consel Group developed a mini road blocker instead. Based on Consel’s existing road blocker systems.
- same strength and blocking height (830 mm) as standard products
- installation depth of only just 500 mm
Custom made control columns and posts
Colors and designs are implemented according to the customer's wishes
At the request of the client, all control columns, control boxes and the QUIVO architectural mullions were painted in the customer-specific color of the light candelabra.
